We stumbled upon it by chance ... after a morning in Rovigo to visit an exhibition.A place frequented mostly by locals.A slightly dated but very clean, family-run restaurant, super courteous and attentive staff, fast but never intrusive service!The thing we liked most is the cuisine....handmade first courses with delicious sauces and well-presented and plentiful dishes.Menu with typical regional dishes.Then finally, as a last kindness, they brought us some delicious pastries!Fair and honest account!I definitely recommend a visit!

Typical restaurant frequented during the week by workers and truck drivers in the area. Three of us ate last Friday and each dish we chose turned out to be a pleasant surprise! My mother had the excellent ricotta and spinach ravioli, a perfect balance of flavours, also because you could tell they were homemade. My husband and I had the penne with mussels and clams: delicious! For the second course, all three of us enjoyed the fried calamari, again a successful dish. Very fresh calamari and impeccable frying. Side salad with garden tomatoes and spinach. A taste of apple pie offered on the house, coffee, water and wine. All for 11.00 each! We will definitely return next time we return to Veneto!
